The Beast Whiskey | The Maligne Range

“The Beast” was a piece commissioned by the Maligne Range for a whiskey that would raise money for the firefighters that were involved the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire. The distillers wanted to create something beautiful out of this tragedy; their malt was exposed to the fire and flavoured by its smoke making a unique whiskey. I wanted to capture the ferocity and beauty of the elements: smoke, fire, and wood.

These limited bottles were auctioned off with proceeds going towards the Firefighters Charities Association and we had the honour of making the packaging and printing silkscreen prints for the bidders.
